Welcome to COSAAG
COSAAG, i. e. Complex Analysis as a Synthesis of Analysis, Algebra and Geometry, is a European Network of research groups in 5 countries which are enganged in mutually coordinated research projects contributing to a better understanding of the deep interaction between analysis, algebra and geometry, including topology, in the field of complex analysis. The pupose of the network is
  • increase of the flow of information
  • mutual consultation
  • improvement of the efficiency of research
  • promotion of cooperation, also between different fiels of mathematics and fields of application
  • strengthening of graduate- and postgraduate education by many specific measures like special courses, seminars, international conferences, exchange of experts and young researchers,
  • increase of the number of female young mathematicians engaged in central research on all levels
Members of the network are groups at the universities of Grenoble, Calais and Lille (France), Humboldt Berlin and Wuppertal (Germany), Pisa (Scuola Normale Superiore) and Rome II (Italy), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Götenborg and Stockholm (Sweden).
